Born With Golden Hands

Nokwanda's love for hair was never a choice — it was a calling. From childhood, her hands found their way into her sisters' hair, experimenting with styles long before she knew the names for what she was doing.

"Through high school, she became the go-to girl in every classroom and hostel — the one whose clients sat patiently because they knew the result was always worth it."

Today, based in Sunnyside, Pretoria, Nokwanda runs a deeply personal, one-woman studio at 129 Troye Street. She sources, cleans, and styles every wig and weave herself — then fits them with the precision of someone who has been practising this art her entire life.

She doesn't take every client. She takes the right ones — women who appreciate craft, care, and consistency.
